About Our Kids Ministry

Our children’s ministry helps kids from birth through 5th grade know and follow Jesus Christ during the foundational season of childhood. We do this by partnering with parents to teach kids Biblical truth and provide family friendly activities.

For Kids on Sunday

Infants & Toddlers

Nursery is available for children from birth through 23 months during both the 9:15 am Bible Studies and the 10:30 am worship service.

Preschool

2 Years Old - Kindergarten

Elementary

1st - 5th Grade

Kids Bible Study at 9:15am

We have two separate classes for preschoolers (ages 2-Kindergarten) and elementary aged children (grades 1st-5th). Each class utilizes an age appropriate curriculum, games, crafts and activities to teach Biblical truth.

Kids Worship at 10:30am

Kids join their parents for the first half of our worship gathering. Then, prior to the sermon, are dismissed for a children’s worship gathering. However, any child is welcome to stay with their parent during the worship service.

Our Approach to Kids Ministry

  • Since children are capable of learning all kinds of things, our children’s ministry teaches biblical truth as foundational for a child’s life. We use the Bible to discover theological truths that lay the foundation to develop a Christian worldview (2 Timothy 3:14-17). Children are encouraged to bring their Bible each week where they will learn how to read, understand, and love God’s word (Psalm 19:7-11). The lessons, games, songs, and crafts work in harmony together to embed God’s good truth into young lives.

  • Since God has entrusted parents with the primary responsibility to evangelize and disciple their children, our children's ministry comes alongside partnering with parents. We encourage and equip parents to fulfill their God-given calling in raising their children (Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Ephesians 6:4). Additionally, our children's ministry provides an additional, reinforcing supplement to the parental investment at home.

  • Our children's ministry seeks to cultivate engaging, nurturing, and age-appropriate spiritual learning environments for children (Mark 10:14). Because we recognize the vulnerability of children, we seek to provide the highest possible level of protection of children while participating within our ministry (Isaiah 1:17). Since children are a blessing from the Lord we seek to do ministry in a kid-friendly way (Psalm 127:3-5).

For Parents

We offer multiple opportunities through the year such as classes and workshops to equip and encourage parents. Also, we have family fun activities for parents to join together with their kids and connect to other parents.
